Amazon said they would foot the bill, but then said they'd just replace it. Lacie will refund you if you send the item back to be investigated, but this will involve shipping costs to the States as they no longer operate in Europe for the UK as we are no longer part of Europe.

As a business owner whose products and services depend on customer service, I cant believe this company does not take customer service seriously. LaCie sends a survey after each email exchange and I have been sincerely honest on each one, but nothing has been done. They only address a portion of the problem and send links that don't even work. Third, after emailing them back and forth numerous times on the issues with detailed screenshots of the errors and problems, I have received responses from three different reps who don't read my emails and directly address the issues at hand. So I now have to take time off from work in order to talk to someone. Tech company's a fraction of their size do. I cant believe a company owned by Seagate has no weekend service. No weekend availability or even a chat option. Second, their customer service is ONLY open M-F 9-5. I get nothing but error codes every time.

First, in order to even use the product you have to be able to download the Raid Manager manual and software. Wished I had seen the reviews on here first because as of today the product still doesn't work.
